ESTONIA

The smallest of the Baltic States, but Tallinn is considered to be one of Europe's relatively unknown gems. The country offers a range of activities such as skiing, snowboarding, sailing, diving, hiking as well some serious bird watching. As with all of the Baltic States WWII and the subsequent Stalin era were not kind to this country and it's people. It was not until Estonia's independence was granted in 1988 that this country finally began to find it's way in the World.
The months of July & August are the best to visit to Estonia. The winter months can be pretty with the snow and the Christmas atmosphere, but the lack of daylight hours are a small price to pay.
As Estonia has now been accepted into the E.U., it may have lost a bit of its allure for those who wish to return back to Estonia, as prices have no doubt increased slightly. But for those wishing to have a unique cheap weekend break will still not be disappointed.

Tallin

TALLINN is a beautiful 14th & 15th century medieval city, which has often been compared to a scaled down version of Prague, with its beauty, charm, friendly people and a slightly smaller castle.
Its past history is leaps out at you wherever you go, with its fortified walls, stylish architecture and bustling town square. The city is home to such sights as the 19th century Russian Orthodox ALEXANDER NEVSKY CATHEDRAL, TOOMPEA CASTLE, and the 15th century KIEK-IN-DE-KOK tower. The focal point of the city is it's vibrant town square, with 600-year-old TOWN HALL, which is surrounded by cafes, vibrant bars and excellent restaurants.
Over the last few years it has blossomed into a popular city break destination with many visitors returning to the city year after year. Tallinn makes an ideal weekend break destination with its reasonably priced hotels, restaurants and lively bars. The shopping is good if slightly limited, and the leather shops should be visited where bargains can still be obtained.
We would recommend that everyone should visit Tallinn at least once.
We can offer discounted rates at the following hotels:-
Radisson SAS,Grand Hotel Tallin, and the Scandic Santa Barbara Hotel.
